Water repellent coating is a silane-siloxane based treatment that penetrates into concrete, masonry, and facade surfaces to create an invisible, breathable hydrophobic barrier — used on exterior walls, columns, parapets, and facades to block rain-driven moisture and dampness without changing the surface appearance.
Unlike surface coatings that sit on top and can peel or trap moisture beneath, silane-siloxane water repellents penetrate the substrate and line the pores from within. The surface still breathes — vapour can escape outward — but liquid water cannot enter. This prevents the dampness, efflorescence, and carbonation damage that follows repeated wetting and drying cycles on exposed concrete and masonry.
ADT Industries stocks water repellent coatings from Sika, Fosroc, and Dr. Fixit — silane, siloxane, and silane-siloxane blend grades for different substrate types and exposure conditions across India.
