Dr. Fixit Curing Compound Wax Emulsion for Curing Fresh Concrete (225 Ltr)
Fresh concrete doesn't gain its strength from drying. It gains it from staying moist long enough to hydrate, and in the first days that water wants to evaporate fast, especially in sun and wind. Lose it too early and the surface ends up weak, dusty and prone to shrinkage cracks. The usual answer is days of ponding or wet hessian, which eats water and labour and often gets done unevenly. Dr. Fixit Curing Compound from Dr. Fixit handles curing in a single application instead.
It's a white pigmented, wax-emulsion based liquid. You apply it over the fresh concrete, and as it dries it forms a thin membrane that seals the mix water in, so the slab cures on its own moisture rather than on water you keep adding. The white pigment reflects sunlight, which keeps the surface cooler and slows evaporation further. That makes it an economical way to cure properly without standing water or constant attention.
It works on interior and exterior concrete, on slabs, and over repair grouts and mortars where good curing decides whether the repair holds. The membrane breaks down on its own through normal weathering, so later coatings, paint or screeds bond to the concrete without you having to strip a film off first. That balance, proper curing now and clean bonding later, is why it gets used in place of water curing on site.
For concrete that has to reach full strength without the water and labour of ponding, Dr. Fixit Curing Compound is the wax-emulsion curing membrane that locks moisture in where it's needed.
