Dr. Fixit Pidiseal PS 41G from Pidilite is a polysulphide sealant made for exactly those joints, where chemical and water resistance decide whether the seal lasts.

It's a two-part sealant based on a liquid polysulphide polymer. You mix the base with its curing agent and it cures by chemical reaction into a tough, flexible rubber that bonds strongly to the joint faces and moves with them.
