Dr. Fixit Pidiseal PS 43 Pouring-Grade Polysulphide Sealant for Floor Joints (6.5 kg)
A horizontal expansion joint in a runway, a highway or a warehouse floor takes a different beating from a vertical wall joint. It gets driven over, loaded by forklifts, and on a runway it meets spilt aircraft fuel, and a sealant that can't pour level into the joint or resist fuel won't last. Dr. Fixit Pidiseal PS 43 from Pidilite is the pouring-grade polysulphide sealant made for those horizontal joints.
It's a two-part sealant based on a liquid polysulphide polymer that you mix with its curing agent and pour into the joint, where it self-levels and then cures by chemical reaction into a tough, flexible rubber. That self-levelling pour fills horizontal joints cleanly and fast. Once cured it accommodates the continuous expansion and contraction of a pavement without losing grip, and the polysulphide chemistry resists aircraft fuel, petrol, diesel and industrial chemicals, takes weather and UV, and meets flame-retardant standards like BS 5212.
That puts it on the most demanding horizontal joints, expansion joints in airport runways, taxiways and aprons where fuel spillage is constant, highway and pavement quality concrete joints, and industrial and warehouse floor joints taking heavy load and forklift traffic. It outlasts conventional fillers like bitumen or mastic strips that go brittle and pull away.
For horizontal joints in roads, runways and floors that face traffic, fuel and constant movement, Dr. Fixit Pidiseal PS 43 is the self-levelling polysulphide sealant that pours in and holds up.
