Not every joint wants a soft, stretchy sealant. A joint that carries some load, sees abrasion, or moves only a little is better served by a firmer, higher-strength seal that holds its shape than by one that stays soft and picks up dirt. Dr. Fixit Feviseal HY 300 from Pidilite is the high-modulus version of the Feviseal hybrid range, made for exactly those joints.

It's the same hybrid technology as the low-modulus HY 100, a single-component, moisture-curing silyl-modified polymer that's isocyanate and solvent free, but tuned to a high modulus. That means a firmer, tougher cured seal that resists deformation and holds up where the joint takes more stress. It still bonds to most substrates without a primer, tolerates damp surfaces, cures without bubbling, and carries the UV and weather resistance of the hybrid chemistry.

That suits it to construction and movement joints in concrete elements, perimeter joints, and jointing between different building materials where a stronger, more rigid seal is wanted, with joint sizing along the lines of DIN 18540. It comes in grey and white, doesn't stain the surrounding surface, and can be overpainted with water-based paint where the finish has to match.
