Fosroc Nitoflor Hardtop Non-Metallic Floor Hardener for Heavy-Duty Floors (25 kg)
The floors that take the worst punishment are the ones you can't afford to keep resurfacing. A loading bay, a trucking lane or a machine shop floor under steel wheels and dropped loads will grind plain concrete down fast, and a thin granolithic topping laid later tends to curl, shrink and crack away from the slab. Fosroc Nitoflor Hardtop from Fosroc is the floor hardener built for that level of wear, worked into the slab while the concrete is fresh.
It's a factory-blended powder of very hard wearing aggregates, cement and additives, where the aggregate runs at around 8 on the Mohs hardness scale. Spread dry onto the fresh concrete and troweled in, it cures monolithically with the slab, so there's no separate layer to curl or delaminate the way a bonded screed does. That surface improves the abrasion resistance of the floor by at least 300 percent over plain concrete, giving a dense, non-porous, hard-wearing top.
That puts it in the heaviest-traffic industrial floors, loading bays, trucking lanes, car parks, ramps, machine shops, warehouses and factory floors, anywhere wheels and impact work the surface hardest. Being non-metallic, it won't rust or stain, it cuts surface dusting, and it can be overlaid later with systems like epoxy coatings where a floor needs more on top.
For industrial floors under the heaviest wear, Fosroc Nitoflor Hardtop is the non-metallic dry-shake hardener that locks a hard-wearing surface into the slab from the start.
