Technical Specifications

How to Apply

• Clean and dampen the substrate — surface should be damp, not wet
• Mix T03 Vitrofix with clean water (~5.5–6 litres per 20 kg) using a drill mixer until creamy and lump-free
• Allow 5 minutes slake time, then remix briefly without adding water
• Apply to substrate using a notched trowel (8–10 mm notch for larger tiles)
• For tiles larger than 400×400 mm, butter the back of the tile as well (double-butter method)
• Press tile firmly into the adhesive bed with a slight twisting motion
• Allow 24 hours before foot traffic, 14 days for full cure

T03 Vitrofix vs T02 NSA — When to Upgrade?

Use T02 NSA when your tiles are standard vitrified up to 600×600 mm on straightforward interior surfaces. Upgrade to T03 Vitrofix when you're working with glass mosaics, natural stone, or need the higher polymer content for better long-term adhesion on dense, non-absorbent tiles. T03 costs slightly more per bag but the higher polymer ratio means a stronger, more durable bond.
