Sika Separol Shuttering Oil and Mould Release Agent for Formwork (230 kg)
Strip formwork off concrete that wasn't treated first and you see the damage straight away. The concrete grabs the shutter, the face tears and pits as it comes away, and the formwork itself gets coated in hardened concrete that has to be chipped off before it can be used again. Sika Separol from Sika India is the shuttering oil that stops that, releasing the concrete cleanly from the formwork so both the cast face and the shutter come away intact.
It's an oil-based, ready-to-use release agent you brush, roll or spray onto the formwork in a thin, even layer before pouring. It gives a complete release from steel or timber forms, so striking is clean and fast, and it doesn't stain the concrete, which is what leaves a smooth fair-faced finish instead of a blotchy one. By keeping concrete off the shutter, it also lets the formwork be reused far more times before it needs replacing.
That matters most where the concrete face is going to be seen, like exposed columns, beams and architectural off-shutter work, and on any job running a lot of pours off the same forms. Applied thinly and evenly, it covers economically and works on dry or damp formwork, so it fits straight into the normal shuttering routine.
For clean striking, a good off-shutter finish and formwork that lasts, Sika Separol is the shuttering oil that releases the concrete without marking the face or the form.
