Sikafloor CureHard-24 Liquid Floor Hardener and Densifier for Concrete (10 kg)

A dry-shake hardener only helps if you get it in while the concrete is still wet. For a floor that's already down and dusting, or one you want denser and harder after the fact, that option has passed. Sikafloor CureHard-24 from Sika India works differently, because it's a liquid that soaks into the concrete and hardens it from within, so it works on old slabs as well as new ones.

It's a clear, sodium silicate based liquid you spray or spread onto the surface and let penetrate. The silicate reacts with the free lime in the concrete to form calcium silicate hydrate, which fills the pores and binds the surface tighter, so the slab becomes harder and denser without any coating sitting on top. Because it seals the pores from inside, it dust-proofs the floor and keeps it breathable, and it leaves no film to wear off or peel.

That makes it the choice for hardening and dust-proofing existing concrete in warehouses, stores, shopping malls, parking structures and service stations, and as the densifier in grinding and polishing for polished concrete floors. It suits floors with light to moderate abrasion duty, and it works inside or out. On a fresh slab it can go on early, and on an existing one the surface just needs to be clean and sound first.
